Keeping the braking system on your vehicle up to date on preventative maintenance is very important. Without any brakes our vehicles will fail to stop. It is important to monitor the brake life of the pads and rotors. Something to keep in mind is also the brake fluid. It is recommended to change out the brake fluid every 30,000 miles or 3 years. It is important to keep the brake fluid up to date. Over time the fluid becomes contaminated with debris buildup. If you apply the brake pedal and it is spongy, that usually is an indicator that the brake fluid is near the end of its life. Schedule an appointment today and we will check your brakes and brake fluid to keep you safe on the road.
When we hear any kind of sound coming from a vehicle, it can be scary. A simple rattling sound can be many things on a vehicle. An exhaust system that is not secured or worn out can be causes of a rattling sound. The vehicle's exhaust pipe and muffler are very close to the road surface which allows damage from road debris. Vehicles 2007 and newer with a gross vehicle weight rating up to 14,000 pounds. Odd year vehicles are tested in even years and even year vehicles are tested in the odd years. A test could be required for the following: when a vehicle is purchased, when an owner is added or removed from a vehicle title, new residents transferring vehicle to Wisconsin.
