Why does my vehicle shake when idling?

                                                                   As the vehicle is sitting at an idle and starts to shake can be frightening. One of the most common issue that causes shaking at idle is loose engine mounts. Engine mounts are the connections between the engine and the vehicle. Other causes can be faulty fuel injectors, worn out spark plugs, or even a bad timing belt.                         It's time for an oil change. Can you please check my other fluids? Yes, that is a great habit to get into. The fluid exchanges can keep it running better than ever. There are no warning lights or reminders when these fluid exchanges are due. Each manufacturer has its own fluid exchange intervals. A very common and inexpensive fluid change is your oil change, the life line of the engine. Transmission fluid should be changed every 50,000 miles to help prolong the life of the transmission. Coolant is what protects your engine. If the vehicle does not have the correct amount of coolant in it, it can cause the vehicle to overheat. Timing Belt

The timing belt is a very important component in the vehicles performance. The timing belt is a rubber belt that keeps your valves moving safely and your engine running. In some vehicles the timing belt may actually be a chain. Whether you have a timing chain or timing belt, they are both very important to the functioning of your vehicle. If a timing belt is warn out it may begin to slip and severe misfires will occur. There is no real clear sign that time timing belt is going bad. When the timing belt does fail, it is not gradual decline, it is a very sudden occurrence. When the timing belt does fail, the engine will immediately stop or lose significant power. If your vehicle does have the timing chain, it may make a lot of noise if it is loose. If the chain breaks, you will often hear the crack.
