Checking your oil on a regular basis is a key part to keeping your vehicle's engine running well and getting the most miles out of it. Think of your engine oil as the life's blood of your car's engine. The vehicle's engine oil lubricates the engine's internal moving parts and keeps them from wearing quickly.
