My mom hit a curb and tried to get someone to tow her car. She hit a curb across the street from Lynch auto and decided to pull into the parking lot so she would be out of the way of traffic. He kept telling her she needed to pay some sort of bill even though she had not used Lynch auto. They screamed at her over the phone over and refused to tow her car over a fee she did not need to pay. So she hung up and got someone else to tow her.
Delaney- Thank you for your review! We do apologize for the troubles last night. The confusion comes into play due to the fact that she was in Lynch’s parking lot. Normally when a vehicle is at a repair facility/dealership like that we have no authorization to tow the vehicle unless getting approval from the facility themselves or (when a business is closed) seeing a receipt from the facility. This is due to the possibility of the vehicle having a bill and, at times, individuals try to move the vehicle without payment. This is a rule we stand by out of respect to other repair facilities. In addition, there is no curb across the street from Lynch, but just North of it or a half mile South. At the time, our driver was just trying to get more details on the situation in order to get all information before we towed her vehicle (due to the liability and regulations we have to follow when dealing with vehicles at another facility). I do apologize if he became agitated when explaining and questioning. Our dispatcher for the night did try to contact your mom as well to try and help clear things up, but he did not get an answer before the insurance company ended up cancelling the call. We are happy that someone was able to help, but hope you understand why there was confusion.
