Public Vehicle Auctions
Bob’s Main Street Auto & Towing periodically offers vehicles for sale through public auction. Vehicles listed on this page may be offered for sale as part of the towing and storage lien process in accordance with applicable Wisconsin law.
We want the bidding process to be clear and straightforward. Below, you’ll find information about how our public auctions work, how to place a bid, and what you should know before bidding on a vehicle.
How Our Public Auctions Work
Vehicles currently available for public auction will be listed on this page. Each vehicle listing will include the information available to us, along with the auction closing date and time, bidding instructions, and any terms specific to that vehicle.
Our public auctions are open to anyone who meets the requirements stated in the individual auction listing.
Please review the vehicle information and auction terms carefully before placing a bid so you understand exactly what you are bidding on and what will be required if your bid is accepted.
How to Place a Bid
You can place a bid in either of these ways:

When emailing your bid, please include:
- Your full name
- Your phone number
- The vehicle you are bidding on
- Your bid amount
All bids must be received before the closing date and time shown on the individual vehicle listing.
Please make sure your contact information is accurate. We will use the information you provide to contact you if you are the successful bidder.
Before You Bid: Important Information
We want bidders to understand the terms of the sale before committing to a vehicle.
All vehicles are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. There are no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied.
Bob’s Main Street Auto & Towing does not guarantee a vehicle’s condition, mechanical condition, mileage, history, or roadworthiness. Bidders are responsible for reviewing the information provided and inspecting the vehicle when an inspection is permitted.
Please also keep the following in mind:
- Each vehicle listing will include its applicable bidding deadline and auction terms.
- The highest bid does not necessarily guarantee acceptance if the bidder does not meet the posted auction or payment requirements.
- Successful bidders will be contacted using the information submitted with their bid.
- Payment must be made according to the terms provided in the individual vehicle listing.
- Purchased vehicles must be removed within the timeframe provided to the successful bidder. Additional storage charges may apply if a vehicle is not removed as required.
- Unless otherwise stated, the purchaser is responsible for applicable taxes, title fees, registration fees, towing, transportation, and other costs associated with taking possession of or titling the vehicle.
- Any existing lien or security interest that has not been released may carry forward to the purchaser’s title when applicable.
If you have questions about the terms of a particular auction, please contact us before placing your bid. We would rather help you understand the process upfront than have you encounter an unexpected issue afterward.

- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- Auction closing date and time
- Available vehicle details
- Any vehicle-specific bidding or payment terms
Bob’s Main Street Auto & Towing reserves the right to reject bids that do not comply with the posted auction requirements and to correct or update auction information when necessary.
