I took my MDX there for brakes because all of a sudden they were very spongy. Had all 4 pads, rotors and master cylinder done. I don't drive the highway much, but when I did the steering wheel started shaking uncontrollably. My husband was behind me because we were moving. He told me to get off at the next exit. He took my car and I took his truck to continue our move to Oshkosh. We had to drive it back down to Hubertus and were told the left caliper needed replacing now. So we had that done. As soon as I started driving I heard a howling/growling noise. I called immediately and Brittany said "her technician heard nothing when he drove it". I told her I wanted it noted and she got a little snippy. My husband had to take my vehicle to commute from Oshkosh to Menomonee Falls for the reminder of his last week before retiring, he came home on Friday and said call Bob's immediately something definately wrong. He didn't want it driven, so we called the free tow number on the invoice. Well it's only free for up to 25 miles. After a long conversation going back-and-forth regarding the tow, She told me somebody would call and come pick up the vehicle so they could look at it. I told her I'm not paying anything and she said not to worry about it. Then she called and said the rear U-joint froze up so the rear-drive shaft assembly would need to be replaced. At this point I did not want them touching my vehicle any more. So I arranged for a tow truck to come and pick it up so I could take it to a different shop. However, it couldn't be released until I paid a $560 tow bill which she told me, I wouldn't have to pay for the tow. I paid the tow and now my vehicle is down there at a different shop. As far as I'm concerned, if you need an oil change or tires, that's all I would ever have done there.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, Brenda. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you've encountered. It's always our goal to provide honest, thorough, and reliable service, and we're sorry to hear we fell short in your case. We understand how upsetting it can be to experience ongoing issues, especially after extensive brake work. At first, the problems were related to the brakes, but we're sorry that more issues came up later, like the frozen U-joint and the confusion about the tow. We truly apologize for any miscommunication regarding the tow coverage and want to assure you this situation is not reflective of the level of service we strive to provide. We’ve taken your concerns seriously and are addressing them internally with our team to prevent similar situations in the future. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity it gives us to improve. If you have any further questions or concerns please give, Ashley, a call at 262-628-2806. Thank you.
