We were very happy with the prompt service in regard to the towing -- the operator was very knowledgeable and took great care in tying down our van before transport to your facilities. George did a great job in keeping us informed, almost on a daily basis, and he gave us the total cost upfront, so there were no surprises at the end. We are pleased with the repairs, and "all systems are go!"

I started taking my truck here because of the convenient location and good reviews (except for they scheduled me across town when I called and never told me that's where the appointment was). However every time I get a call back from them with a diagnosis and quote, I'm blown away by their price. Typically about twice what I'd expect. I am not a lifelong mechanic but I have been working on my own vehicles for over 15yrs and am quite knowledgeable in cars/mechanics. Each time I've had something "fixed", I had to bring my truck back in a few weeks later for them to fix the issue again. The first time was for a heater blend box door which requires removal of the dash. I told them the exact door that failed (I had it diagnosed by the Ram dealership) and they replaced a different door. A few weeks later I realized ice cold outside air was still coming in and hitting my legs so they had to pull the dash (cracking it) and fix the actual problem. They charged me an additional $540 for the second actual repair, in addition to the original $1100. The last time I had my truck in to Bob's I paid them another $1100 for a water pump, thermostat, radiator cap, cooling system flush & refill. Three weeks later there was another puddle of coolant under the truck and they tried to charge me an additional $500 to replace two coolant hoses! Mind you only one needed replacing. You would think the old cracked and failing original hose would've been addressed during the coolant system overall a few weeks earlier. Time to find a new, reputable, and REASONABLE, ship to trust with our vehicles. I'm giving 2 stars because it has been quick and easy to get my truck in and their customer service and communication is pretty decent.

Thank you for your feedback, Dustin. I apologize if there was a confusion about where the appointment was scheduled as it looks like all your appointments have always been at the same location. We strive to stay competitive with our pricing as we take pride in our great customer service. At the time of the service regarding the door, you had brought the door with the diagnosis from the Ram dealership stating there was an issue with the cold air blowing onto your feet. Within the first repair we removed and replaced the blend door actuator. After the repair, it was functioning. When you brought it back in a month later, the actuator was still functioning, but the blend door was no longer switching positions. It was then found that the problem was deeper and it was the full blend door unit and not just the actuator. At this time, there was no additional charge for any diagnostics and the only charges accrued was for the blend door unit itself and the additional labor to remove the heater box to replace the blend door unit. At this time, we also advised replacing the other blend door actuators due to having the dash out again. The first time it was brought in- we truly believed that it was just the actuator that had to be replaced and unfortunately that was not the case. Then, pertaining to the cooling system, when we originally performed the cooling system fluid exchange, the hoses were not leaking at the time. The fluid exchange itself might have disrupted the hoses causing them to leak due to them being over 19 years of age. When you came back in over a month later, we recommended the two radiator hoses to be replaced (even though one was leaking) because of them being the same age and the mileage of the vehicle. It is solely your decision on what repairs are made to your vehicle. Our advisors always make recommendations on repairs based on the information they have to prevent issues from occurring before they become a larger problem.
