Carvana certified shop. Repairs that were done are actually fine but car was returned with multiple hard to remove grease spots and fresh paint chips that were not there prior service. Tech who worked on it should really consider be more careful with someone else's property. All i wanted is an apology but apparently that was too much to ask for. No response. Service advisor was nice enough to deal with but provided estimate $400 higher which made me decline the maintenance which i would have done otherwise. Car is still under Carvana warranty for 3 months and i pray that nothing goes wrong as i do not wish to let these people work on my car again. IN RESPONSE TO OWNER'S REVIEW: Say what you want but i inspected that vehicle 24 hours prior to bringing it to you and those chips were not there. Furthermore i did complete walk around at the time of the drop off as well. I could point every single imperfection that i am not blaming you for and there are quite few. I own my own shop and i took care of what was done to it while serviced by you , but if i were you , i would certainly talk to your tech and your service advisor about really taking care of their customers. I know it may not be a big deal for you but you missed out on $1500.00 maintenance job because quote was incorrect. Thanks for your response but i politely disagree!
Thank you for your feedback, Roman. We’re glad to hear that the repairs themselves met your expectations, though we are sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with the condition of the vehicle upon pickup and with your overall experience. We will forward the photos you provided to our management team for review. As part of our standard intake procedure, we do photograph all vehicles upon arrival. These are general “four-corner” photos intended to document any significant or pre-existing damage; however, they are not typically detailed enough to capture minor imperfections such as small paint chips. We are willing to take responsibility for any oil or grease residue that may have been left on the vehicle and would be happy to clean those areas for you. However, the paint chips shown in the photos would be unexpected to occur while the vehicle was in our care. During its time with us, the vehicle was only moved twice, once from its original parking location and once for a brief test drive of approximately three miles before being parked for pickup. While awaiting parts for the authorized repairs, the vehicle remained elevated with the hood open. Any work being performed nearby was conducted at least one service bay away, and the repairs completed on your vehicle did not involve procedures that would create debris or require forceful disassembly that could reasonably result in this type of damage. We do apologize if you felt your concerns were not acknowledged appropriately, as that was never our intention. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to review the matter further. If you would like to bring the vehicle back so we can clean any remaining oil or grease residue, please let us know a convenient date and time, and we would be happy to assist.
